The delivery driver is now facing charges of attempted murder, home invasion with a firearm, kidnapping and aggravated assault with a weapon

Not getting a tip can be frustrating, but one pizza delivery worker has taken the lack of compensation one horrible step further.

A pizza delivery worker in Florida has been charged with attacking a customer, allegedly stabbing them 14 times after they only tipped $2.

According to a press release from the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, 22-year-old pizza delivery driver Brianna Alvelo took matters into her own hands after being left disappointed with a small tip on an order.

Delivering pizza to the Kissimmee Hotel in Florida, Alvelo handed over pizza totalling $33.10, with the victim paying $50 and asking for change. Alvelo explained that it wasn’t the restaurant’s policy to provide change, after which the victim asked for their money back and went to find two smaller bills. The switch meant Alvelo was left with just a $2 tip, with a witness statement from the victim to investigators stating Alvelo ‘rolled her eyes and walked away without saying anything.’

The victim returned inside with her pizza order to continue celebrating with their boyfriend and her five-year-old daughter, yet they were later disturbed whilst asleep as it’s alleged Alevo and an unknown male suspect broke into the room armed with a firearm.

After entering the hotel room, the male suspect forced the boyfriend into the bathroom where he smashed his phone. At this point Alvelo is believed to have been rummaging through the victim’s things, whilst the victim protected her daughter.

After finding nothing of value, Alvelo is said to have turned her attention to the victim where she began stabbing her with a pocket knife, eventually leaving her with 14 stab wounds. The victim’s statement alleges that Alvelo only ceased her attack after the male suspect told her it was time to leave, with the victim believing Alvelo was ‘trying to kill her’.

Authorities attended the scene and the victim was taken to hospital from the scene, her injuries include a punctured lung and she learned at the hospital that she was a few weeks pregnant. The victim is now reported to be in a stable condition following the attack.

The official statement from The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office explained: “It was discovered that the victim had ordered pizza from a local restaurant earlier in the evening, and Alvelo became upset about the tip she had received.

“Alvelo later returned to the victim’s motel room with an unknown male suspect, who was armed with a firearm, and forced their way into the room.”

A statement from a Marco’s Pizza spokesperson to News 6 addressed the attack. It said: “We are deeply saddened by the tragic incident that occurred. The local owner and his team are fully cooperating with local authorities, who have launched an investigation into the matter.

“The safety and well-being of customers and team members are always our top priority, and we are taking this incident very seriously.”

Alvelo is being held in the Osceola County jail with bail set at $55,000 (£43,927), as investigations continue. The male suspect currently remains unidentified, and Alvelo is now facing charges of attempted murder, home invasion with a firearm, kidnapping and aggravated assault with a weapon.

The Sheriff’s office added: “This was an isolated incident at this address, and the matter remains under investigation.”

Chipotle worker brutally attacked by customers who were told they’d be charged extra for chicken

Warrants have been issued for Charlotte’s Jamel Bernard Williams and Kayla Nicole Pyle’s arrests

Chipotle customers attacked an employee after an alleged dispute about an order.

Warrants have been issued for the arrest of two North Carolina natives, who allegedly beat up a fast-food worker earlier this month.

Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office said that Jamel Bernard Williams, 36, and Kayla Nicole Pyle, 34, were the two perpetrators wanted in connection to the assault.

It’s claimed that a deputy responded to the Indian Land Chipotle restaurant just after 9pm on December 10.

At the time, the official is said to have spoken with the 20-year-old female employee and various witnesses.

Taking to Facebook, a spokesperson wrote: “According to the victim and witnesses, Pyle entered the restaurant and placed an order.

“A dispute arose about the order, and words were exchanged between Pyle and the victim.”

Queens City News reported that the Chipotle employee had allegedly informed the customer that there would be an additional cost if she wanted to add extra chicken to her order.

According to authorities, a ‘dispute arose about the order, and words were exchanged between Pyle and the victim’.

The conversation is thought to have escalated into a verbal row and it’s claimed that the hospitality worker decided to end her shift early due to the dispute.

However, as the unidentified woman attempted to leave the building, Williams is said to have entered from the other side of the dining room and approached the victim.

It’s claimed that Williams pushed the woman to the floor and began to assault her – pulling her hair and hitting her.

It’s also claimed that Pyle later joined in on the assault and struck the victim before leaving the scene with Williams.

Police said the Chipotle employee sustained injuries during the attack and complained of pain but sought treatment on her own.

Therefore, the current extent of the women’s injuries is unknown to the authorities.

Elsewhere, police said that a third person was also with the pair.

The person in question is a male juvenile however, the relationship between the trio is not known at this time.

In a statement, Sheriff Barry Faile said: “I don’t know what was said between Pyle and the victim, but the victim was leaving for home and was chased down from behind by Williams and attacked in the dining room of the restaurant.

“The assault was completely unjustified. I hope the victim has recovered from her injuries.”

He added: “I appreciate the help we got from Charlotte Mecklenburg PD to identify Williams and Pyle, and I encourage them to turn themselves in and let the judicial system run its course in this case.”

Arrest warrants have since been issued charging Williams with assault and first-degree battery and charging Pyle with assault and second-degree battery.

The arrest warrants for Williams and Pyle were obtained on Wednesday (December 27).

A Pizza Hut employee in Milwaukee has been accused of killing his manager and leaving his body in a trash can following a dispute over a $7,000 check.

Kavonn Ingram, 31, appeared in court on Friday (16 February) following the death of 55-year-old Alex Stengel earlier this month.

On 7 February, a garbage truck driver found Stengel’s body in a dumpster at the back of the Pizza Hut restaurant in South Milwaukee.

Police were called to the scene and followed a trail of blood to the kitchen of the Pizza Hut, where they found the floor had been recently cleaned, and there was blood on a sink, a mop handle and a light switch.

Investigators went to the home of Ingram, who worked with Stengel at the Pizza Hut, and were met by his girlfriend who asked: “Is this about Alex?”

According to a criminal complaint cited by CBS7, the girlfriend claimed Ingram had plans to get a large inheritance check that Stengel had just received.

She allegedly questioned him about plans to shoot Stengel.

Kavonn Ingram is being held on bond.

South Milwaukee Police Department

According to the complaint, Ingram told his girlfriend: “If… your gun is to his head and you shoot him in the head, it works as a silencer, and no one else is gonna hear it.”

Citing the complaint, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel stated that several days before Stengel’s body was found, he cashed the $7,000 check and showed off a wad of dollar bills to co-workers, including Ingram.

Ingram has been accused of shooting Stengel in the head in the kitchen of the Pizza Hut, and of trying to slit his throat. Police have suggested the money could have been the motive for the crime.

Surveillance footage filmed from a nearby Taco Bell allegedly showed a suspect struggling to bring a garbage can to the dumpster at the back of the Pizza Hut at around 10.25am local time on 5 February.

Stengel's body was found in a dumpster.

Stengel’s wallet, keys and cellphone were missing from his body, and the criminal complaint suggested Ingram may have tried to cover his tracks by clocking out for Stengel and sending texts from his phone to a regional manager.

During the investigation, police said they found a gun in a backpack in Ingram’s home.

Ingram has been charged with first-degree intentional homicide, hiding a corpse, armed robbery and possession of a firearm by a felon.

He is being held on a $200,000 bond.

Christian school teacher allegedly tried poisoning husband multiple times while she had an affair

Christian school teacher allegedly tried poisoning husband multiple times while she had an affair

A part-time art school teacher has been charged with attempted murder

A teacher at a Christian school is currently in police custody after she was arrested on suspicion of attempting to poison her husband.

Sarah Scheffer, 37, has been accused of poisoning her husband’s smoothies and has since been charged with attempted murder.

It’s said that her partner installed surveillance cameras after he began to feel unwell and suspected she may have been tampering with his food and drink.

It’s claimed that she was seen on footage adding a root to a smoothie she was making him from a bag labelled “lily of the valley’ that her partner had earlier seen on a table.

Scheffer taught at the Calvary Lutheran High School in Jefferson County in Missouri part-time and has been placed on leave. Her name and photo have been removed from the website following the news of her arrest.

The Jefferson City Police department issued a press release on its Facebook page and gave further details about the alleged incidents following her arrest last week.

“January 16, 2024, members of the department investigated a call involving allegations of intentional poisoning of a spouse,” the press release read.

The Jefferson City Police department issued a press release on its Facebook page and gave further details.

Cole County Sheriff’s Office

“Authorities were notified by the victim that he believed a period of unexplained illnesses were infact an intentional act of poisoning.”

Following this, Scheffer was arrested and taken in for questioning. During her interviews, according to police she said that she had been ‘adding items’ to the victim’s food and drink with the knowledge of its ‘potential to cause illness/death.’

According to court documents, Scheffer had allegedly been adding Lilly of the Valley to her husband’s food. The plant is known as being ‘very poisonous’, according to the National Capital Poison Centre.

The centre has also said the plant contains cardiac glycosides which ‘slow down the heart and cause irregular heart rhythms”.

A probable cause statement provided by the police also gave more disturbing details to the alleged ongoing incident.

“The victim described [experiencing] extreme fatigue, confusion, blurred vision, severe cotton mouth, and nausea,” the statement said.

When the husband confronted his wife about the taste she allegedly told him that she had urinated in the beverage and added an industrial strength adhesive, only to then deny adding anything to it.

Scheffer also told police that she was having an affair and was in a relationship with a man from Pakistan.

Police have said they believe there would have been a risk Scheffer wouldn’t show up to criminal court proceedings as her search history ‘has Google searches for flights to Pakistan’, according to the statement.

The school at which Scheffer was a teacher has also released a statement following her arrest.

“The alleged conduct was outside of the employee’s association with the school and did not involve a student or any other school personnel,” Calvary Lutheran Executive Director John Christman said in the statement.

“As a Christian community, Calvary Lutheran High School believes in protecting the well-being of all individuals who are part of our programs and we seek to respond in a caring and sensitive manner to everyone in our school community.”

Scheffer appeared in court last Friday and entered a plea of not guilty.
