“33, newly divorced, finding peace in the quiet moments. Director by day, urban farmer by night, growing microgreens to nourish my community and fight the system. Proud cat mom, introvert, and believer in quality over quantity. Rooting for the women in this space as we navigate our lives together.

Open photoHello! I’m a 33-year-old woman who, after a recent divorce, now lives alone in the northeast United States. I lead a fairly balanced life between my career and my passions. During the weekdays, I hold a position as a Director at a manufacturing facility, where I focus on overseeing operations and ensuring everything runs smoothly. However, when the workday ends and on weekends, I switch gears to pursue my love for urban farming. I grow microgreens in an effort to promote healthy, sustainable living and contribute to the well-being of my local community.

For me, it’s not just about food; it’s my way of quietly fighting against the bigger systems and big Pharma that often prioritize profit over health. I’m also a proud mother to two cats who bring me comfort and joy, though this week, I said a heartfelt goodbye to one of them who crossed the rainbow bridge. It’s been a tough loss, and the silence in my home is a reminder of just how special they were. As an introvert, I cherish the quiet and solitude in my life. I’ve always preferred a small circle of close friends, valuing deep, meaningful connections over superficial ones.

I may not understand why shoe sizes are shared in this group, but for those curious, I wear a size 8. I love reading about the lives of the women in here, finding comfort in their stories, and silently rooting for each one of you as you navigate your journeys.
